Patient Rights and Responsibilities<\/h3>

Rights<\/b><\/p>

1.<\/b>To respect for their personality, human dignity and privacy, without being discriminated against for reasons of race, social type, sex, economic, moral, ideological, political or trade union reasons.<\/span><\/p>

2.<\/b>To information about the health services they can access, and about the requirements for their use.<\/span><\/p>

3<\/b>.To the confidentiality of all information related to their process and their stay in the Center.<\/span><\/p>

4.<\/b>To be warned if the procedures applied to them may be used as part of a teaching or research project that, in no case, may involve additional danger to health. In any case, the prior authorization and in writing of the patient and the acceptance by the doctor and the Management of the Center will be essential. <\/span><\/p>

5<\/b>.To be given, in understandable terms, to them and their family members or relatives, complete and continuous information about their process, including diagnosis, prognosis and treatment alternatives.<\/span><\/p>

6.<\/b>To the free choice between the options presented by the medical officer in charge of their case, the prior written consent of the user being necessary for the performance of any intervention, except in the following cases:<\/span>
<\/span>\u00b7 When the NON-intervention poses a risk to public health.<\/span>
<\/span>\u00b7 When they are not able to make decisions, in which case, the right will correspond to their family members or relatives.<\/span>
<\/span>\u00b7 When the urgency does not allow delays due to irreversible injuries or danger of death.<\/span><\/p>

7.<\/b>To be assigned a doctor, whose name will be made known to them, who will be their main interlocutor with the care team. In case of absence, another doctor of the team will assume such responsibility. <\/span><\/p>

8.<\/b>To be issued a certificate accrediting their state of health, when its requirement is established by a legal or regulatory provision.<\/span><\/p>

9.<\/b>To refuse treatment, except in the cases indicated in section 6, and must therefore request Voluntary Discharge, in the terms indicated in section 4 of the Duties.<\/span><\/p>

10.<\/b>To have a written record of their entire process. At the end of the user’s stay, the patient, family member or relative will receive their discharge report.<\/span><\/p>

11.<\/b>To use the channels of complaint and suggestion proposal within the foreseen deadlines. In either case, they must receive a written response within the deadlines established by regulations. <\/span><\/p>

12<\/b>.To be informed about aspects of collective health of special interest, incidence or risk.<\/span><\/p>

13.<\/b>To be offered the care, benefits and health services available that are considered necessary to take care of their health.<\/span><\/p>

14.<\/b>Receive clear and understandable information regarding treatments, surgical procedures and diagnostic tests that involve risks, before obtaining their written consent.<\/span><\/p>

15.<\/b>Access their medical history, through the established procedures.<\/span><\/p>

16.<\/b>Have the Charter of Rights and Duties available in all health centers.<\/span><\/p>

17.<\/b>That all appropriate actions are carried out that, together with the attention to their process, are aimed at reducing and alleviating suffering and pain both in those critical situations and before the process of death, in accordance with the utmost respect for autonomy, integrity and human dignity.<\/span><\/p>

18.<\/b>That advance wills, expressed through the established procedure, are taken into account.<\/span><\/p>

19.<\/b>To be received in a personalized way upon arrival at a health center and to be informed of all the issues that may make their stay more comfortable.<\/span><\/p>

20.<\/b>Receive health care in an appropriate time according to the process, as well as to be offered information on the response times of consultations, tests and interventions for the various processes.<\/span><\/p>

Duties<\/b><\/p>

1.<\/b>Comply with the general prescriptions of a health nature of the Center<\/span><\/p>

2.<\/b>Take care of the facilities and collaborate in the maintenance of the habitability of the Center.<\/span><\/p>

3.<\/b>Take responsibility for the proper use of the Center’s services.<\/span><\/p>

4.<\/b>Maintain due respect for the rules established in the center, as well as for the staff that provides its services in it.<\/span><\/p>

5.<\/b>Comply with the administrative rules and requirements of use and access to the services of the center.<\/span><\/p>

6.<\/b>Sign the voluntary discharge document in cases of non-acceptance of treatment. If you refuse to do so, the Management of the Center, at the proposal of the doctor in charge of the case, may give the Discharge. <\/span><\/p>
